Water Bear Marketing is very excited to welcome Abigail Hursh to our team. Abigail has joined us water bears as a Marketing Intern this summer. Abigail will be working to gain her Google and Microsoft Advertising Certifications and working closely with the CEO, Nate Louis, and other Water Bear Marketing team members on special projects.
Abigail comes to Water Bear Marketing as an advertising student at Kent State University. She is studying advertising and user experience design, and has a passion for leadership and teamwork. When she isn’t mastering advertising in the classroom, she works as a Resident Assistant at Kent State.
We had a Q & A with our newest water bear to learn more about her. Check it out below:
Q: Tell us about your online advertising and marketing experience.
A: I am a 3rd year advertising major and user experience design minor at Kent State University. I’ve done a little bit of client work for Action Based Research in Akron, as well as practicing with Google Analytics in my digital advertising class.
Q: What excites you the most about digital marketing and the advertising industry in general?
A: I’ve always been fascinated and enamored with the psychology behind advertising. It’s fascinating to me how, by just changing one color on an advertisement, the entire viewpoint of the consumer can be changed. This psychology, as well as how the consumer thinks, is the most exciting thing to me about the advertising industry.
Q: What are you most excited to learn while interning at Water Bear Marketing?
A: Honestly? Everything. I’m a sponge for information and education, and I love to learn. Currently, I’m the most excited to work on user experience for the Water Bear Marketing website. It allows me to really look into the mind of the consumer/user, and to think in their shoes.
Q: What types of projects do you hope to focus on while working with us at Water Bear Marketing?
A: I’m looking forward to getting my Google and Microsoft Analytics certifications. I also hope to put my minor into good use with user experience work for clients and Water Bear Marketing itself.
Q: Tell us something unique about you, something that most people don’t know.
A: I’m a diehard Motley Crue fan!
Welcome to the team Abigail
