Campaign Consultant

Certifications: Remain current with certifications such as Google Ads: Search, Video, Display, Google Shopping, Apps. Google My Business, Google Analytics, and Bing certifications.
Initial Responsibilities:
- Client Setup
- Setup new clients on different advertising platforms, reporting dashboard, and any other resources required, following Water Bear Marketing’s best practices and in the designated time frame for the launch.
- Request ads to be designed by the creative team, and review and communicate any errors or updates needed.
- Effectively communicate, through each stage of the setup process, with appropriate Water Bear Marketing team members and clients about the status of new campaigns.
- Ensure client campaigns start on time and verify that Water Bear Marketing tracking is working properly.
- Campaign Management
- Work independently to ensure the success of all client campaigns assigned to you.
- Conduct regular (daily/weekly) campaign performance reviews on accounts assigned, and make changes as needed to improve performance. Ensure tracking functionality is working correctly, and if there are issues, work to have them resolved.
- Regularly ensure client campaign ad spend is pacing properly and adjust as needed.
- Consistently (daily/weekly/monthly) ensure we are reaching or exceeding client expected campaign results, as defined prior to launch.
- Request ads to be designed by the creative team, and review and communicate any errors or updates needed.
- Create and or update text ads & ad extensions for Google & Bing.
- Make requests to the website development team to update client websites and check for errors when they are completed.
- Troubleshoot performance issues using our best practices and work with internal and external stakeholders, as needed, to resolve timely.
- Communication
- Send updates, at key review points, to clients or PARA partners, on the performance of the advertising campaign and copy their Advertising Consultant
- Include key statistics, recorded calls and/or form submissions, and our blog articles or other items relevant to the client or those in the PARA Program
- Give suggestions for how to improve client campaigns; including new products to focus on, keyword adjustments, blog topics, and more.
- Provide updates at weekly meetings about areas of opportunity or improvements for clients, consistent trends, products, and other items.
- Send updates, at key review points, to clients or PARA partners, on the performance of the advertising campaign and copy their Advertising Consultant
- Identify and Assist with Upsell and Cross-Selling Opportunities
- Understand the client, their expectations, their ideal audience, their needs and wants, and identify marketing and advertising opportunities based on that information.
- Assist Advertising Consultants, those in the PARA Program, or directly upsell and/or cross-sell clients when there is a need to help improve their advertising campaign.
- When upselling a client, reset expectations and goals as defined in the marketing goals section of the reporting dashboard.
- Develop Future Campaign Consultant Role
- For processes that you own, create and modify SOP’s that can be shared with future Campaign Consultants.
- Continuously update your SOPs and processes, as adjustments are needed (i.e. changes to platforms, products, etc.).
- Consistently look for new areas of opportunity and efficiencies and work with the Water Bear Marketing team to implement new processes, changes, etc. to streamline your workflow.
